This privacy policy explains how we deal with your personal data.

Scope

The app processes your images/photos files. They are just named "files" in the following.

Depending on the content of your files (if they contain faces/people) and their metadata (e.g. name, serial number of the device used to take the photo), your files could be considered as personal data.

As the Microsoft Store requires this privacy policy to be hosted on the internet, log files are written whenever you read this.

What data do we process?

For the app itself

We use your file's content. Sorting, filtering and shrinking is based on

• EXIF metadata (date/time picture taken)
• File metadata (date/time file created/last modified)
• Number of pixels (width, height)

For viewing this Privacy Notice

By viewing this privacy policy, a log item on our webserver is created containing the following data among others:

• Date and time when you accessed this privacy notice
• Parts of the IP address used by your device for viewing
• Browser used for viewing

As only a part of the IP address is saved, a link to your person cannot be created anymore. The log data therefore is considered to be anonymous and not futher mentioned in this data privacy notice.

How do we obtain your data?

The data is directly obtained by reading it from the files on your devices. Only files that you select for processing a read.

How will we use your data?

The data is only used for processing your images as described in the respective task in the app, e.g. "Compile Photoshow", "Download photos", "Shrink photos".

All processing is done on the devices on which you run the app (your PC) or that you use to connect to (your smart phone for "Download photos").

How do we store your data?

Any data generated by the app (due to copying, shrinking, converting) is solely stored on the devices which you select as the destination for processing.

What are your data protection rights?

This section of data privacy notes normally contains a list of your rights like

• right to request copies of your personal data
• right to rectification
• right to erasure
• right to restrict processing

As we do not store any of your data, it doesn't make sense to request copies of your data or to request deletions. We simply don't have anything. Processing/storage only happens on devices you choose.

The app contains links to other websites. If you click on a link to another website, you should read their privacy policy.

The app is made available through the Microsoft Store. Please also pay attention to their privacy policy.
